Interview with Legendary Artist Bob Timberlake

Bob Timberlake was born in 1937 in Salisbury, North Carolina. Bob and his wife Kay have made their home in Lexington, North Carolina, where Bob has a studio. Bob and Kay have three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Selected honors include: the Albert Schweitzer medal for Artistry; the American Forestry Award; North Carolina Public Servant of the Year; the Iron Eyes Cody Award; the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; the prestigious “Order of the Long Leaf Pine”; and induction into the American Furniture Hall of Fame. Honorary degrees have been received from: High Point University; Fayetteville Methodist College; and Davidson County Community College.

Interview with World Champion Professional Bullrider Daylon Swearingen

Daylon has been competing for a while now; he gained much prominence after winning the 2022 PBR World Championship. In the match, he bucked off in round 1 by Lil 2 Train in a hard-fought 5.22 seconds. Afterward, Swearingen quickly rebounded in Round 2, covering Big Black for a career-high ninety-three points, cutting Joao Ricardo Vieira's lead from 36.01 points to a meager 3.01 points."

Co-founder and Executive Director at WildAid. Peter Knights has worked to end the illegal wildlife trade for 25 years. He worked on wildlife trafficking as a program director with Global Survival Network and as a senior investigator for the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA). At EIA, he specialized in conducting global on-site investigations and campaigned against the wild bird trade for pets and consumption of endangered species in traditional medicine, including bear gallbladder, rhino horn, and tiger bone.

Additionally, all the studios, including Sonny, Warner Bros., Manhattan Beach Studio, and others, were also clients of Anita’s. She currently resides in Raleigh, NC and still owns her business Hidden Door Floral Studio.

The emphasis in both her private and public lives has always been on economic development and public safety. In 1997, Nancy was elected to the Greensboro City Council from District 4. After serving two terms on City Council, she retired from governmental service in 2001. She then ran successfully for a third term in 2009 and continued to serve as an At-Large representative until 2013. Nancy entered the race for mayor in 2013 on the platform of the “vision to change Greensboro and the honesty to do it right.”
