Love Will Take You to Your Destiny

No matter what your age, find your passion and run with it. Find something that stirs your heart and excites your soul, and live your life with purpose. I see too many people walking around angry about things they have no control over.  I know people did not live like they do today before the internet. I witnessed people sharing some of my same passions back when I used to show horses.  We weren’t standing around talking about politics, and being angry all of the time, and we certainly weren’t casting hate into the world.

I keep to myself and to my family most of the time, and spend time with my animals, for they do not disappoint. I enjoy my clients when I work with them, and I follow my passions: writing, photography, my live interviews, and spending time with David. There is so much to live for, and it won’t be found on social media.

"The greatest miracle that God can do today is to take an unholy man out of an unholy world, and make that man holy and put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it"~Leonad Ravenhill~

I often wonder how many people will look back one day and wish they had spent more time in the real world or working towards a dream, versus arguing over politics or trying hard to be seen on social media. I love being creative and enjoy every chance I get to be creative with my clients through photography and my magazine.

I enjoy the outdoors and love being in the pasture with horses, photographing them, following them around, and loving every minute they give to me. They are a wonderful gift from God, as well as dogs. Love is the greatest gift from God, and many people are stuck living in hate here on social media. I know that is not what God intended for his creation, man, but it is a choice many make.

I have been blown away by the hate I witness on social media, so I don’t stay long. I post; I watch comedians late at night before I go to bed to encourage laughter before I sleep. Last night, I laughed so hard at Sebastian Maniscalco. It was about a 20-minute clip, and I watched another one and shared it. I have noticed people are so focused on political posts rather than something funny, that I wonder if they have any laughter left in their lives.

I love people who make me laugh. I love people who have a good sense of humor. It’s gotten harder to find, but when I do, I share with them. Too many people take themselves so seriously, or social media too seriously, that they have forgotten how to have fun. It’s healthy to laugh, and it’s healthy to let your hair down.

I remember in college, laughing hard with my roommates, and the guy’s in the dorm across from me, Guilford dorm. Guilford dorm had some fun guys who we became friends with and always made us laugh. Fun times, and great memories. No one was talking about politics, and there was no internet, so we learned to communicate, laugh, and have a good time without staring at phones, since we didn’t have any. I grew up in a time with the greatest music, the greatest art, the best movies, and the greatest spirituality.  It was cool to believe in God, and it still is. It’s not just cool, it’s the way, the truth, and the light.

I am happy to see that many people are coming back to God, relying on God, talking about God more, and not fearing to believe in God, but loving God. It’s good to be held accountable through faith. Most of my life, my closest friends haven’t had the faith I do, but that didn’t stop me from being friends with them. Sure, they poked fun at my faith at times, but their lack of faith never veered me away from my faith. I stood strong and still do.

I used to wonder why I often drew people towards me who didn’t have faith or were different from me, but now I don’t wonder. I don’t question so much today, as I realize being different is a good thing, for it makes you stronger, turns you into a leader, not a follower, and it also gives you wisdom. God works in mysterious ways, and if you go through life feeling like you don’t fit in, there is a reason. You don’t want to fit into the hate we are seeing today, or the craziness. You want to lead by example. If you want to change people, change yourself first. Lead with love, the best way you can. Don’t associate with people who are focused on hate, but instead, lead with love, and perhaps they will follow.

We are venturing into spring, a great time to clean your closets, but also to clean your heart and mind, release any hate, and let love in, fulfilling you in ways you’ve never dreamed of. Love and truth are always the answer, and the pathway to freedom.   When you live a faith-filled life, you will become your greatest testimony!

To your own success, rock it!
